The Picnic Basket

Clara stayed over yesterday night. We were so tired after a long walk to Fort Canning Park early in the morning. Had our picnic there. It was rather peaceful actually. Our initial plan was to go Lower Pierce Reservoir Park but we couldn't find the place. We walked to Fort Canning instead.

The weather was good though it drizzled for awhile. We sat on our picnic mats till 2 plus and headed to Citylink to eat our really early dinner at NewyorkNewyork. We paid quite a sum because the voucher couldn't be used and blahblah.Long story anyway. Pissed us off. But its okay, my dad came to drive us home which made us a little happier. haha.

Rented a dvd from lot1 and came home to snooze. Oh,not so soon because apparently someone has been talking to herself for at least an hour before allowing me to fall asleep. (I was replying her even though i knew i was really tired. and my answers were all so dead like uh..ya. yes.. and we finally fell asleep haha)

Woke up late, had our lunch and we watched Ps.I.love.you. It was so sweeeet and the movie was awesome. Right choice of renting this movie. We loved it.

Buy a new outfit. Be a disco diva. Learn to fish. Take a chance. Travel. Laugh. Love.
Sometimes there's only one thing left to say.
(Hahah taken from the back of the dvd cover)

Okay, its a new year in 2 days. Have you thought of your new year resolutions?

The 25th / Christmas

Headed to Church in the morning. Yup, Jesus is the reason why we're celebrating Christmas.Thank god for this wonderful season. Accompanied my family to eat lunch and rushed down to Orchard with Jasper to meet Scouter. We had our lunch at some Hokkaido Japanese Restaurant. He treated me and Jasper really good ramen. It tasted like the one i ate in Hokkaido 2 years back.Yum.

We walked around, got Jasper's sister Christmas present and had our teabreak. Had cupcakes while they drank coffee. Saw Ray coincidentally for the 101th time this year. no idea why!! hahaaaaa.

Went back home in the evening and headed to another Christmas gathering at my father's side. Ate lots of food. Our dessert contained lots of varieties. Icecream, Chocolate fondue, fruits, eclairs, logcake. Haha we had turkey that day too. Whats Christmas without a turkey? Right...
Anyway, we brought Netto along. He played with Muffy(My aunt's dog) non-stop and they were both fighting for attention. tsk, naughty boys.

Received a Christmas card in my mailbox today. A really pretty one. Thanks Meilin!! We shall meet up soon :) Oh, not forgetting the X'mas present from Jasper. i love it. & a thumbdrive from my uncle.
Thats all for my X'mas presents this year. how pathetic. Sighhhhhhh i should just get use to the fact that as we grow older, our presents get lesser and lesser. Hahah.

okay see you soon.

The Christmas Days ( Steamboat buffet + Christmas Eve Gathering)

Steamboat Buffet

I have so many overdued posts to blog about!
Its been weeks since i've blogged about my life in Singapore.Hahaaaaaa.
Alright, so before Christmas, i spent my days:

1) Rockclimbing with the scouts
2) Buffet :)
3) Cupcake decorating
4) Christmas Gathering on Christmas eve.

-Rockclimbing was tough. I would rather be a Belayer. Hahah. Yes, i did belay many people and both of my hands are injured now.

-Buffet was erm.. not very worth it since it was a steamboat buffet. I hate eating pork balls now. Haha. The guys and 3 of the girls(us) spent most of our time eating non-stop. We still ate slicee after our buffet.

-Christmas cupcake decorating course was alright. I had very little time to decorate the cupcakes and i had no inspritations that day :(

-The usual Christmas gathering at my aunt's house every year.We were stuffed with food. I love eating turkey..hmm. We watched Mr Bean's holiday and played with the cute little ones. Netto cried that day because my uncle brought him to the park for a walk and he was infested with big ants, biting him. Aww, poor boy.Oh, we had goose liver bought from Germany that day too.

okay will blog about how i spent my Christmas in the next post.
sleepover tomorrow. Getting excited!
