I'm so lazy to blog!! Haha. But i promise you, this will be the last post for my Europe trip.Its gonna be a long one.Bear with it! :)
Day 9:
Left Budapest for Vienna(Austria) It was a 3 hour long journey and we had a break in between. We saw really nice wind turbines during our break.The sky was pretty too. Why are the skies in Europe so pretty!? Why can't i find such pretty skies in Singapore! Hmm..
When we reached Vienna, we had chinese food for lunch and headed to the opposite supermarket to get loads of milka chocolates. We love milka chocos.
Our first stop for our city tour was Maria Theresa's Palace/Schonbrunn Palace. Our tour guide was awesome that day. She was really funny when she was telling us how Maria Theresa's daughter was a lesbian.hahaha. Headed to Belvedere Palace next.Belvedere Garden for the third stop and we touched some fake ladies boobs for good luck. Wasn't really feeling well that day. my cramps was killing me.(you can see the painful smile in some of the photos haha) And our final stop for the day is Swaroski crystal shop. We spent 2hours in this shop and i swear the crystals there were all so pretty!!
Day 10:
Left Vienna for Salzburg.Mirabelle Garden for our first stop.It was prettttty.This was the place where they filmed ' The sound of music' and we saw the fountain which the kids in the movie danced around.Headed to Mozart's birth place next. Walked around and headed to some other place i couldn't recall. Marj and i was lagging behind our tour group because she dropped her glove and we went to find it. Haahah. anyway, there were 2 pickpockets following us all the way. Luckily we had our tourguide protecting us all the way till they left. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.
We stopped by a cafe after that to have a cup of hot chocolate and their famous apple strudel. It was so good.We had free time after that. Chinese food for dinner again. Oh and you know we blamed our tour guide for prank calling us that night(in a joking manner) long story anyway, and he had this really shocked face and he announced on the bus that we got pranked by someone we didn't know haha it was so funny.So from that night, the cousins decided to start pranking him and stuffs!!
Anyway, the hotel we stayed that night was my fav hotel. it wasn't some kind of 5 star hotel or what but the designs of the hotel room's door was way cool. It opens outwards and my whole family had 4 rooms in total. So, we got the whole long corridor all to ourselves.It was just like our house!! my mum was screaming at us for I-don't-know what reason and Ray could hear it next door.Haahha it was so funny. Anyway, we pranked our tourguide that night with Ray's stupid gay voice and we offered him wine.Haha chitchatted for quite some time and slept:)
Day 11:
This morning,while having our usual american breakfast, sis spotted snow right outside the hotel. We were sooooooooo happy i tell you! We rushed through our breakfast and headed back up to our hotel and packed our luggages really quickly.We went down afterwards to take really pretty pictures.I love snowwwww.
Headed to Munich(Germany) which was added as a special itenary because we missed quite alot due to the delayed flight on the first day.We were given time to shop around before having lunch. Dad bought pork knuckles. It was fattttttttt. Anyway after lunch, Marj and I had snowball fights with our tourguide. I feel so guilty now, throwing one huge snowball right into his face. But it was so funnnnn.
Headed back to our hotel.It was our last night in Europe. I was feeling damn suckish that night but my tourguide bought me a keychain and that really cheered me up. Aww. Had supper with cousins in our room and we invited him over.
Day 12:
Had a short city tour around Heidelburg,Germany. We then headed to some castle and took lots of polaroids there.
After that, our tour guide dropped us off at a X'mas market. We had free time for 6HOURS. Believe me, 6 hours was a killer and it was the coldest day out of this 14 days trip. We were frozen once we stepped out of the bus. So anyway, we had our 'lunch' at this cafe and we had really good hot chocolate and pizza.
After that, my mum and auntys went to shop on their own. We , cousins and my dad did not know where to go because it was a sunday and it was so crowded. We decided to try our luck to see if the bus was open and if we could hide from the cold.And we hit the jackpot!! Our tourguide and bus driver were inside watching some movies i think. So we just sat there and caught 2 movies.Some cantonese one and a Jaychou one.Hehehe. In between, Marj,Ray and Sis went down to get sausages for teabreak. ( and i saw them running back because the wind was really strong that day)
We finally headed to Frankfurt's airport. I was kinda down. I didn't want to leave that place!! Really.We took photos with our tourguide before heading onto the plane.
Our SQ flight back was awesome.Out of this 12 hour journey, i slept for at least 10hours. There were not many people going back to Singapore and so we had like almost the whole row to ourselves.
Ray puked 6 times during the flight.Poor thing.
When we reached Singapore, i was superduper down. Its back to reality. I don't wanna leave Europeeee. I wanna go back there. I love the place.
Alrighty, after so many days of Europe posts, Xmas is in 2 days!! I've lots of overdue-ed photos to post.
