Day 6
City tour in Krakow(Poland). Headed to Wawel hill for our first stop. We went to castles and cathedrals. Took pictures and blahblah. It was kind of standard to see so many castles and cathedrals there. Headed to old town and the Christmas Market.I love the x'mas markets there too. They sell really colourful stuffs like lots and lots of candys. i love'em! Bought some food there. Had this really salty and cheesy puff there. (Food in Europe is much saltier in Singapore ahaha)
Saw many horse carriages. Really pretty ones too. We caught a sight of a little boy playing and feeding the pigeons and he wasn't even scared of them (or should i say the pigeons were not even scared of him) A flock just crowded and surrounded him and some even flew onto his arms. Really cute.
Had lunch at this cozy restaurant and we headed to the salt mine. Okay, it was bad. The only interesting thing about the salt mine is that we had to climb down a total of almost 50 storeys into the mine. And probably, licking the walls of the mine to see if its salty (Just kidding) Our tour guide which brought us around the salt mine talked so softly and she walked really fast till we had to chase her. haha.
oh i enjoyed the lift up to ground level too. it was this really old and scary and dangerous lift. They crammed 9 people in this open air lift. Hahah but it was fun tho. Had a really nice dinner after that.
Day 7
We spent 8-9 hours on the coach to Budapest on day 7.However, we passed by Slovakia and it SNOWED. I've been finally waiting for it to snow. We were damn excited. Our bus driver made a deliberate attempt to stop the bus at the hill top for us to take pictures and play with the snow. We were obviously elated. We made snowman and played with snowballs. Fun:)
Reached budapest, had a late dinner and headed back to the hotel. We had supper that night:)
alright, stay tune for more!!
